Work Plans

01. The Sixth Meeting of the AFROSAI-E Governing Board and its sub-committees was held in Lusaka, Zambia in April 2009. Twenty of the twenty-three members attended the meeting. The following organisational matters were approved by the Board in 2009:

• The four sub-committees of the Board were reconstituted as required by their respective terms of reference.
• A new vice-chairperson, Mr John Muwanga, Auditor General of Uganda, was nominated for a period of three years commencing 1 July 2009.
• An additional post of senior manager for capacity building was approved and a gesture from SNAO to finance the position was gratefully endorsed.
