AFROSAI-E Technical Conference

We are pleased to announce that the annual Technical Conference will take place as an in-person event from 18 to 20 October 2022 in Pretoria, South Africa. After two years of connecting online, we are excited to connect with our regional participants, partners and stakeholders again in person. It is also why the theme of this year’s Conference is CONNECT.

The Conference will be an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and establish new connections with peers and partners. We also plan to connect past and present Conference discussions with a focus on the principles of INTOSAI-P12 on the Value and Benefits of SAIs. To embrace a modern and interconnected approach, the traditional round table format will make way for informal seating and discussion pods. This will enable more engagement between participants and interaction with the presenters throughout the Conference. A separate business centre with workstations will be available to participants.

Several new technical guides and exposure drafts are also slated for launch and will feature on the programme and as exhibitions in our knowledge-sharing hub. We want to encourage SAIs, partners and stakeholders who wish to showcase new products, materials or innovations, to book an exhibition space at the Conference. The exhibitions will feature in the conference programme to supplement and complement the discussions.
