Regional Workshop: Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL)

We have scheduled a five-day regional workshop to build SAI capacity on the monitoring and evaluation process from planning, monitoring, and evaluation to reporting. This workshop will build on the lessons learnt from previous workshops.

The workshop’s objectives include:

• Assisting SAIs in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to monitor the implementation of SAI operational plans.

• For participants to understand the key concepts of M&E and how to develop key performance indicators to track organisational performance.

• To promote transparency and accountability in the region by capacitating SAIs in developing M&E reports and annual performance reports.
