AFROSAI-E 13th Technical Update
The 13th AFROSAI-E Technical Update was the most well-attended annual Update we’ve ever hosted. Over 160 representatives from SAIs and a diverse range of partners and stakeholders participated.
The Update provided an important platform for members and stakeholders to learn more about the activities and developments in the AFROSAI-E region and to discuss, debate and share experiences on a variety of topics related to SAIs demonstrating relevance.
In her official opening remarks AFROSAI-E CEO, Meisie Nkau, implored SAIs to take deliberate action to grow their teams with both technical and behavioural aspects. “I want to encourage you to be deliberate in planning to implement the necessary measures for the success of our organisations and of the region.”
The theme for the Update this year was: DEMONSTRATING RELEVANCE.

» The Public Finance Management Reporting Framework – the game changer
» Role of effective PFM systems for achieving the SDGs and African Agenda 2063
» Ethics & Values as cornerstone of good governance
» Strengthening Audit Methodology
» 4th Industrial Revolution and Digital Disruption
» Value and benefit of effective Quality Assurance
» 2018 Best Performance Audit Report
