Annual WGISAM workshop

The Working Group on Information Systems Management (WGISAM) is holding its annual workshop from 25 – 29 September 2022 in Windhoek, Namibia. The theme for this year is leveraging technology to make a difference in the lives of citizens.

The workshop will focus on the following topics:

• Leveraging technology to make a difference in the lives of citizens.
• Responding to key information systems.
• Supporting audit of critical information systems.
• Use of technology to improve audit coverage.
• Future-ready/relevant SAI.
• Application of big data in the audit of key information systems.

We invite SAIs to nominate WGISAM members currently participating or intending to participate in the WGISAM activities to attend the workshop. Further, SAIs can nominate staff from the IS Audit or IS Management (ICT) units who are affected or working in the areas to be discussed. We would also like to invite SAIs to share their experiences on the topics under discussion.
