Regional Workshop: IFMIS Supervision and Review

The Information Systems Audit Champions Programme (ISACP) aims to build practical capacity in SAIs’ IS audit function, enabling them to conduct audits of critical information systems and adequately support financial, compliance and performance auditors. A complementary aspect of the ISACP is strengthening supervision and review skills for Integrated Financial Management Systems (IFMIS) audits.

We have scheduled an IFMIS Supervision and Review Workshop from 23 to 27 June 2025 at the Park Inn by Radisson in Kigali, Rwanda. The workshop will be followed by a peer support and feedback workshop for IFMIS auditors. SAIs will be grouped according to the systems that their IFMIS runs on, and communication about the follow-up interventions will be given in due course.

To ensure we achieve the workshop objective and SAIs gain the most value from this capacity-building intervention, it is crucial that the appropriate staff attend the workshop. We invite SAIs to nominate appropriate participants who meet the following criteria:

• Currently working as a Senior Manager or Head of the IS audit unit.
• Experienced IS auditor.
• Knowledge of IS audit standards and methodology.
• Knowledge of AFROSAI-E audit methodology.
• Experienced in working with financial audits.
