Regional Workshop: Information Systems for Financial Auditors

AFROSAI-E is planning a training workshop for financial auditors in the region focusing on auditing information systems. This training is in response to the new changes in the standard and the advancement of the auditees in their information systems. The workshop aims to introduce and equip financial auditors with skills to assess information systems controls in applications that produce financial statements.

To ensure we achieve the workshop objective and SAIs gain the most value from this capacity-building intervention, it is crucial that the appropriate staff attend the workshop. We invite SAIs to nominate participants for the workshop who currently fulfil the following roles in the SAI:

• Financial Auditors
• Information System Auditors
