Environmental Webinar 3 of 2026

This webinar will walk through the Climate Watch tools most relevant to the audit work of AFROSAI-E member SAIs, followed by an open question-and-answer session. Key tools that will be covered include:

• Country profile pages: country-level snapshots of climate targets, emissions and policies.
• NDC Tracker and NDC Explorer: tracking and comparing countries’ climate commitments.
• Historical GHG emissions data: emissions trends by country and sector over time.

Leandro Vigna, a consultant at the World Resources Institute (WRI), will lead the discussion. He leads outreach and partnership initiatives for the global data platform Climate Watch. He also consults for the Bezos Earth Fund, where he works on product management and the development of Systems Change Lab, a climate data platform built in partnership with WRI. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from Yale University, with a focus on climate change policy. His work centres on developing and managing data platforms to improve their use in decision-making and to strengthen international partnerships.
