Regional Workshop: Performance Audit Supervision & Review

Building on the success of previous workshops for senior managers, we are pleased to announce a regional workshop this year, specifically designed for team leaders, supervisors, and senior managers who work directly with audit teams or hold supervisory responsibilities.
Workshop focus areas include:
- Strategic and operational planning in performance auditing.
- Effective supervision and support for audit teams.
- High-level review of draft pre-studies and performance audit reports.
- Exchange of regional experiences to foster mutual learning.
Workshop objectives:
- Strengthen understanding of performance audit strategies and operational planning.
- Highlight the critical role of supervision and support in enhancing audit quality.
- Emphasise the importance of reviews and quality management processes in the audit cycle.
- Promote shared learning through regional experience exchange.
To maximise the value of this intervention, we invite SAIs to nominate participants who currently supervise and review multiple teams at an operational level and who have not previously attended similar AFROSAI-E training.
