IS Audit Champions Programme – Module 1 Workshop
The Information Systems Audit Champions Programme (ISACP) is a four-module IS audit training programme that started in July 2019. It involves training workshops interspersed with pilot audits on focus areas where SAIs struggle to build capacity.
The objective of the IT Audit Champions Programme is to build practical capacity in the SAI’s Information Systems Audit function to carry out audits of critical information systems and adequately support financial, compliance and performance auditors in the SAI. This course targets SAIs with established IS Audit sections.
It is expected that the SAIs sending staff for the programme will commit to these teams taking part in all four modules of the programme and provide support to future champions. Further, the teams will be expected to conduct specialised pilot audits in the areas that will be covered during the programme.
