Annual WGISAM Workshop
We established the Working Group on Information Systems Audit and Management (WGISAM) in 2019 to enable knowledge and experience sharing on Information System security in the region. The creation of the WGISAM was motivated by the fast-growing technological advancements, which present challenges in SAIs, for both IS audits and IS management.
The theme for this year is ‘Auditing for impact in the digital age: maintaining a future-ready workforce and harnessing AI to build a quality-driven SAI’. The theme responds to the Governing Board resolutions of building a future-ready workforce and current ISSAI developments requiring SAIs to build quality management systems.
We invite SAIs to nominate WGISAM members currently participating or intending to participate in the WGISAM activities to attend the workshop. Further, SAIs can nominate staff from the IS Audit or IS Management (ICT) units who are affected or working in the areas to be discussed.
