IT Audit Experts Programme – Module 2

The IS Audit Experts Programme’s objective is to build practical capacity in the IS audit function of the SAI, with the aim of enabling them to carry out audits of critical information systems and adequately support financial, compliance and performance auditors in the SAI.
This course is targeted at SAI IS auditors at an expert level. It is expected that the nominated SAIs participants will conduct specialised pilot audits in the areas that are covered in the programme.
The remaining three modules of the IS Audit Experts Programme are scheduled as follows:
- Module 2: CL01 Introduction to Cloud Computing and CL02 Basic Audit of Azure – Kampala, Uganda 12 – 16 June 2023
- Module 3: Advanced audit of Active Directory/Windows, South Africa 13 – 17 November 2023
- Module 4: Installing and securing MS SQL & Basic audit of Unix/Linux, South Africa, 2024
To ensure we achieve the workshop objective and SAIs gain the most value from this capacity-building intervention, it is crucial that the appropriate staff attend the workshop. We invite SAIs to nominate participants who are at an expert level of IS audit and are planning to audit cloud environments.
