Regional Workshop: A-SEAT & Recommendation Tracker Administrator Training
The A-SEAT includes functionality for recommendation tracking at the individual audit level, with a consolidation report planned to be built into the system in due course. As the A-SEAT is intended solely for SAI use, the Secretariat explored expanding this audit recommendation-tracking capability into a public-facing recommendation-tracking system.
The resulting Audit Recommendation Tracking System is a web-based platform designed to support SAIs, stakeholders, and audited entities in managing the lifecycle of audit recommendations. The SAI can use the tracker tool as an external-facing system during the audit (A-SEATquery) and post-audit (A-SEATtracker).
We invite SAIs to nominate staff to participate in an administrator workshop scheduled for 12 – 21 October 2026, in Pretoria, South Africa. The workshop will focus on the newly developed audit tracker system and new A-SEAT functionalities. It will aim to build the capacity of SAI A-SEAT Admin Support teams to manage the two systems effectively.
To ensure we achieve the workshop objective and SAIs gain the most value from this capacity-building intervention, it is crucial that the appropriate staff attend the workshop. We invite SAIs to nominate appropriate participants who meet the following criteria:
- Currently working as A-SEAT or audit tracker admin support.
- Actively participated in implementing the 2024 A-SEAT updates on the SAI A-SEAT system.
- Worked as a member of the SAIs’ A-SEAT deployment and configuration team.
- Have good knowledge of the A-SEAT.
- Have some knowledge or experience in Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Knowledgeable about the SAIs’ functionality requirements for the A-SEAT.
