Regional Workshop: Performance Audit Supervision and Review
September 18 - September 22
The Performance Audit Supervision and Review workshop for Executive Officers (Deputy Auditors General/Assistant, Auditors General, Directors, and Deputy/Assistant Directors) directly responsible for performance audits in their SAI will take place from 18 – 22 September 2023 in Pretoria, South Africa.
This workshop will be facilitated by senior managers with substantial knowledge of and experience in performance auditing. They will also facilitate knowledge sharing amongst the participants based on their own experiences in the region. The workshop will cover the following four areas:
- Overall planning in performance auditing, focusing on operational and strategic planning.
- Supervision and support for performance auditors and audit teams.
- Review of draft pre-studies and draft performance audit reports.
- Exchange of experiences between senior managers in the region on performance auditing.
The workshop will be limited to twenty-five (25) participants. Depending on the number of nominations received, this may mean that we will not be able to accept all nominations.
