Regional Workshop: Strategic Management
The 2026 Strategic Management workshop, under the theme “Driving Institutional Excellence Through Results“, will help SAIs transition to a unified, results-driven culture, translating strategy into results, and ensuring that institutional priorities are effectively implemented.
We have selected topics that strive to embed a culture of collective accountability and measurable impact throughout the entire organisation. The workshop will explore key areas relevant to the strategic management level, including:
- Effective results-based management system for SAIs
- ISSAI 140, the edge to quality management.
- Digitalisation as a transformation to operational efficiency.
The workshop will equip participants with the tools, perspectives, and practical approaches needed to enhance the quality of SAI work, accountability, and stakeholder reporting. The programme will combine expert-led presentations, sharing of SAI experiences as case studies, and peer learning to create a highly interactive environment that encourages reflection, exchange, and practical application.
To benefit from the workshop, SAIs are encouraged to send staff from non-audit units such as Quality Management, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, and Monitoring & Evaluation.
