Thirty-nine participants from 11 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) across the region are attending the Regional Workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning (MERL) this week.

This year’s focus is on enhancing skills in data collection, analysis, and report writing. The workshop aims to achieve the following key objectives:
1. Support SAIs in developing and implementing effective monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to track the progress of their operational plans.
2. Equip participants with a thorough understanding of M&E concepts and the development of key performance indicators to measure organizational performance.
3. Foster transparency and accountability by strengthening the capacity of SAIs to produce comprehensive M&E and annual performance reports.
