Regional Workshop: Human Resource Development
AFROSAI-E is pleased to announce the 2026 Regional Human Resource (HR) Development Workshop, which will bring together HR representatives from across the region to strengthen capacity in strategic and operational HR functions. The workshop supports our ongoing commitment to building capable, agile and future-ready HR units across the region.
The 2026 HR Development Workshop aims to enhance the competencies of HR practitioners who serve in full-time HR roles within their SAIs. The programme will focus on resource development, practical HR management tools, and strengthened alignment between HR practices and organisational performance.
The workshop’s key objective is to equip HR staff from each SAI with the skills, methods, and frameworks needed to improve workforce planning, talent management, change management, organisational development, and Strategic Human Resource Management (HRM).
To achieve the workshop objectives, we invite SAIs to nominate one HR representative employed in a full-time HR capacity to participate.
