AFROSAI-E has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the African Financial Integrity and Accountability Support Project (AFIAP) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for a Financial Audit and Quality Management Resident Trainer, and a Performance Audit Resident Trainer.

The services included under this project are for the Office of the Auditor General of Eritrea (OAGE), which is one of the member Supreme Audit Institutions of AFROSAI-E, receiving support through the Phase 2 Accelerated Support Partnership Project. The overall objective of the OAGE Phase 2 Accelerated Support Partnership Project is to enable the OAG of Eritrea to achieve key strategic goals and objectives through well-coordinated peer-based capacity development support.
