AFROSAI-E is proud to support the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in marking International Fraud Awareness Week, taking place from 17 to 21 November 2025. This global initiative aims to raise awareness of fraud prevention, detection, and response—and to inspire collective action against financial misconduct across all sectors.

We encourage our member SAIs and stakeholders to take part in the week’s activities. The ACFE will host a series of in-person and online events, offering valuable insights into emerging fraud trends, prevention strategies, and professional best practices.

Fraud affects every organisation — public or private — and strengthening integrity systems is key to protecting public resources and building citizens’ trust.
