AFROSAI-E is excited to announce the launch of two comprehensive e-learning programmes on the Financial Audit Manual (FAM) and Compliance Audit Manual (CAM) — now available on the AFROSAI-E Learning Platform (ALP).
These new courses mark a major step forward in making AFROSAI-E’s core audit methodologies more accessible, practical, and adaptable for all SAI staff. Designed to complement existing in-person training, the programmes provide a flexible way to strengthen understanding and application of the FAM and CAM — anytime, anywhere.
Why this matters
The e-learning programmes have been developed to:
- Deepen understanding of key audit concepts and methodologies.
- Support blended learning through online pre-assessments.
- Provide high-quality training to SAIs with limited resources.
- Serve as induction material for new audit professionals.
Learning structure
Each course features two levels:
- Basic: Covers essential principles and processes — ideal for new or refresher learners.
- Advanced: Builds on this foundation through an interactive case study that applies the methodology in practice.
Learners must achieve a 60% pass mark to complete the course and will earn a certificate with CPD points.

- Timeline: 1 October – 31 December 2025
- Duration: 3–4 hours per course
