The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of Uganda is conducting a validation process for its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan with staff from 2–11 March 2026.

Facilitated by AFROSAI-E, the validation sessions aim to ensure alignment across the organisation and foster a shared sense of ownership and accountability for the strategy’s successful implementation.

The sessions focus on reviewing the Strategic Key Result Areas and Strategic Management Elements, while also working closely with each Directorate to refine and validate their respective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Through this collaborative process, staff are engaging with the strategic priorities and identifying how their work will contribute to achieving the organisation’s long-term objectives.

By the end of the validation process, the OAG aims to strengthen organisational alignment and reinforce commitment across the institution as it prepares to implement the new strategic plan.
